This guide will help you to understand the structure of the Innosupport web system. If you are familiar with the navigation of standard web pages, you will most likely not have any problems in orienting within the system since it complies with common navigation techniques and web layouts.
The structure of the web system
A lot of websites use a column layout to structure their content and provide easy navigation to the users. This web system is divided into 4 logical parts, supporting an easy orientation. These parts are shown in the following graphic:

1. The heading includes access to the sitemap, help page and print option via these icons:
A sitemap is a collection of all web pages that outline the website’s structure. Here you have an overview and direct access to all content available in the Innosupport web system.
The print option will open the active component page in a printer friendly version.
2. The main navigation is the primary way of accessing the component contents. Simply click on a navigation entry and the corresponding submenu will expand, showing you the complete structure of this component as well as the content that is associated with that entry. The active element will be differently coloured to show you where you stand within the structure.

3. In the content area you will find the component contents, but also the results of a keyword search and the glossary entries. For sequential navigation through the content there is a set of previous/next-buttons on the bottom of the page. The results of the keyword search and the content of the glossary will also be displayed here.

4. The Additional tools on the right side will provide you with a keyword search, a glossary and a download section for downloading the content in PDF format.

To search the content (within the components and glossary), simply type in a keyword and click on the arrow below the input field. The results will be listed in the main content area.
For accessing the glossary, click on a letter under the heading “glossary”, then the corresponding glossary terms will be displayed in the main content area.
Each component can also be downloaded for offline-reading. You will find two links in the download box, one for all components in one PDF-document and one for the content of the current component.
